| Post Crime Support | This is a 24-hour crisis management product to assist the policy holder in the event of a home invasion or vehicle high jacking incident. The service includes the following: • In the case of the policy holder’s cell phone being stolen from their home in a home invasion, we will provide the beneficiary with a cell phone loaded with pre-paid airtime to the value of R100, which will be delivered to the insured home address or an alternative address within a 30km radius of their permanent home address; • In the case of the policy holder’s keys being stolen in a home invasion, we will send a locksmith to the beneficiary’s house to assist them with their locks, up to the value of R1 000 per annum; • In the case of the policy holders’ home being invaded, we will place a security guard at their house for 24-hours after the event has taken place; • In case of the beneficiary’s home being invaded, we will provide hotel accommodation to the value of R1 000 per annum; • In the case of the policy holder’s cell phone being stolen during a vehicle high jacking incident, we will provide the beneficiary with a cell phone loaded with pre-paid airtime to the value of R100, which will be delivered to the scene of the incident, or an alternative address within a 30km radius of the location of the incident; • In the case where the policy holder’s vehicle has been stolen during a high jacking, alternative transport will be provided in the form of a taxi service, or car rental service to the value of R1, 000 per incident; • In the case of the policy holder’s credit card being stolen during a home invasion or • vehicle hi jacking incident, we will provide the policy holder with a digital voucher via sms to the value of R500 to assist the policy holder in the interim. | Unlimited utilization |
Roadside Guardian
Roadside Guardian offers an armed roadside security protection to members to protect them from many dangers on the South African roads. In the event of the member being stranded next to the road following a roadside breakdown, and they feel unsafe and are in danger, an armed, highly trained security guard will be dispatched to the member’s location. A large, nationwide security network is utilized to assist members and make sure they are safe whilst they wait for a tow truck/response vehicle to arrive.
The product includes the following benefits:
- Access to security networks within a 50km radius of the major metropolitan areas;
- 24-hour crisis center will dispatch the reaction units to the member’s location;
- The Roadside Guardian will stay with the member until assistance arrives or at the time that the member feels safe and no longer require their services.
